Cleaning Service - Radiator Cleaning and Sanitisation

As a result of the increased awareness of MRSA in hospitals and the efforts of Facilities Managers to achieve generally higher standards of cleanliness in all public buildings, it has become very apparent that the most neglected fittings are radiators and their associated pipes. These are usually difficult to access and do not normally come under the remit of general cleaning contractors.

The build-up of grime, dust and dirt trapped behind radiator covers located in healthcare premises and other sensitive public areas can be very obvious if one cares to look!

The problem solved
To answer this cleaning problem, Coverad in collaboration with one of Britain's top hospitals, has perfected a cleaning method that utilises powerful vacuum and high temperature steaming techniques leaving radiators in a certified sanitised condition.

Specially trained operatives will remove any Low Surface Temperature covers, clear away solid objects, vacuum all surfaces (whilst minimising airborn dust contamination) then, using high temperature steam at 120°C, sanitise the radiator and the LST cover. A detailed radiator survey is provided and repairing or replacing damaged covers can also be included as part of the service. Every radiator that is cleaned is labelled upon completion.
